'tis the season

there's nothing like giving or receiving a gift that was truly wanted for christmas.

at the top of my christmas list? tickets to the inauguration ceremony. check! many thanks to vaughn for contacting the speaker of the house on that issue. i cannot wait until january 20th.

also, exchanged gifts with frances today. we both got what we wanted!

in other news, the power went out at my apt last night (while i was in the shower, no less!). posts will probably be delayed as internet is down, and i will be returning home for the holidays. happy christmas to you all!
