my bro scolded me for paying more for this christmas gift at a local bookstore (as opposed to buying from amazon.com). i'd like to think i pay for the store's charm and if you can believe it...good old-fashioned customer service! i went to pay for the book, and the cashier remembered that i came in a couple weeks ago to order it. there was even a copy on hold, waiting for me behind the counter. so great, plus they throw in their snazzy bookmarks.
