after postponing this museum visit many a time, mel & i finally visited the de young to check out the chihuly exhibit. the colors, the craftsmanship, the entire collection was stunning! any other blown glass art i encounter will pale in comparison to what i have seen today. you can check out more shots on my flickr. everyone should go to the exhibit if you have time. since it's the last week, i suggest you snag some advanced tickets now before they sell out!
