i saw on flickr that favor & gilby had ventured from the east bay to eat here, and i said, "hey! that's my uncle's restaurant!" it's weird to think about it as a destination restaurant because this is just where we have the occasional (free) family dinner.
the food is pretty tasty though. how can you resist the bagoong fried rice?

As Josh would say..word!? That's your uncle's restaurant? I haven't been there but I have heard so many great things about the place..so bad I probably won't try it before I leave..maybe winter break!?
