friday night 11:30pm, and the BART train is full. whether it may be due to concerns of climate change or (more likely) the escalating price of gas, the demand for transit is up right now. even though people may want to shift away from the car-oriented lifestyle, you'd be surprised by the mass amounts of government funds that still go into roads and highways while there is so little investment in transit. this is a major challenge, but that is why i love my organization and the work we do.
